Earth Day/Wine and Cheese 201- Organic, Biodynamic, Sustainable, Natural. What is the difference?
In celebration of Earth Day this special wine and cheese class will focus on the differences in Organic, Biodynamic and sustainable farming techniques. The topic of 'natural' wine will also be explored! Do any of these methods actually improve the taste of the wine/cheese?
Are wines and cheeses made by these farming practices better for you? Just what is natural wine? What should you look for on the label? Are there laws for levels of additives, if so do they differ from the old world to the new world? Is all wine made from organically grown grapes actually organic?
All these questions and more will be covered in this fun and educational tasting!
